As part of this update you'll notice that quick prompts have moved to a new home inside the magic wand button. Now you can access all quick prompts with a single tap on this new button.
Many of you also provided feedback that you frequently reference the conversation transcript and would like it to be easier to scan. Our latest update cleans up the transcript so you can find things more easily.
We continue to ship your top requests from the Hedy feature board. We're listening and iterating based on your input, so please keep it coming!
All these updates are now available in version 1.8.0, available in the App Store and Google Play. Highlights will also be available in the web app soon.

Introducing Hedy Highlights

Well, we heard you, and we've got something special up our sleeve!
What is Hedy Highlights?
Think of Highlights as your always-alert research assistant who never misses a beat. During any Hedy session, just tap the star button when you hear something worth remembering. Hedy will automatically:
Capture the context and relevant portion of the conversation
Analyze the content for key insights
Generate a clear, structured note in Zettelkasten style
Save everything for easy future reference
But here's where it gets really interesting - Hedy doesn't just save what was said. Our AI analyzes each highlight to create:
A clear, book-chapter-style title that captures the core concept
A cleaned version of the original conversation that improves clarity while preserving meaning
A distilled "main idea" that captures the essential insight in a single thought
An analytical perspective that expands your understanding of the concept
Getting Started with Highlights

Update your Hedy app to version 1.8 or newer
Look for the new star button during your sessions
Tap it whenever you hear something worth remembering
Find your highlights in the new "Highlights" section of the session history
