This week we have several new Hedy features to share with you:
Import audio & video files into sessions

Over the coming weeks we are going to focus on finishing the native desktop version of Hedy, which is our most requested feature. Expect the update frequency for the mobile app to slow down a bit.
A note to our Android users: We continue to try to find ways to prevent newer Android version from terminating Hedy while a session is running in the background (screen off or another app in use). While older Android versions let Hedy run in peace, newer versions are more aggressive about terminating Hedy. If your version of Android terminates Hedy in the background, please keep Hedy running in the foreground with the screen on for now.
🎥 Import Audio & Video Files (Pro)
Turn any recording into an AI-analyzed Hedy session! Just share any audio or video file to Hedy, and Hedy will process it just like a live session - complete with summary, key points, and transcript. Perfect for:
Previously recorded meetings
Voice memos
Lecture recordings
You can import your existing audio or video files from the Session History screen, or share them from any other app directly to Hedy. Learn more about this feature in our help documentation.
🌍 12 New Hedy Chat Languages
Hedy can now chat with you in these additional languages:
Afrikaans
Arabic
Bengali
Catalan
Croatian
Czech
Estonian
Hebrew
Malayalam
Serbian
Slovenian
Tamil
The Hedy app is also fully localized in these new languages when you select one of them as your preferred language.
We will continue to evaluate which languages we can add to the speech recognition as well. Our goal is to add several new languages to the new Hedy desktop app, since we should be able to run larger speech recognition models.

We've been busy improving your Hedy experience:
Quick Start: Long press the Hedy app icon on your home screen to start a session directly from your home screen.
Transcript Translation (experimental): Clean up and translate your transcripts to any Hedy-supported language in one go. Simply tap the clean up icon (stars) on the transcript tab of your completed session and select a language to translate the transcript to.
White label emails (Pro): Option to remove Hedy branding from auto-recap emails. You can enable this on the App Settings screen.
All these updates are now available in the latest version of Hedy. Update your Hedy app to the latest version (1.16.1) and dive in!
